The Downtown is a whole lot of fun. It is a giant surfboard. These downwind shapes are very versatile offering great glide which makes paddling them a joy. It is easy to get places. Then the stability and playfulness in the surf comes into it. If you have never tried a board like this, you should.

From Infinity:

Downwind / Open Ocean / Choppy Waters and Bumpy Lakes

Stable, fast gliding and very manoeuvrable in the bumps. Infinity took this feedback and kept with the same bottom design concept but updated the smaller design features.

First, moving the entire cockpit further back to create more volume and a better placed recovery volume. The nose got refined and added more curve from the bottom up creating more kick in the front for larger swells. Also, a slightly softer entry in the nose simply for forgiveness in cross-swell. High volume nose makes this board incredible upwind and into the chop.

The "Flat deck" design makes this board a pleasure to paddle in most conditions and has become many peoples all around premium utility board. It ticks the boxes from basic flat water paddling, bumpy lakes and ocean, and of course it flies down wind.

About Infinity

Infinity have been building surfboards since the 1970s. They are a family run business out of Dana Point, California. One thing that has always set them apart has been their willingness to build all kinds of watercraft and not being limited to just surfboards. Whether that meant tandem boards or wave skis in the early days, or today SUPs and Foil boards. Their designs have always been about pushing limits and they have always loved making boards fast.
