SIC XRS 14.0
The XRS combined the features of the classic flat water race board the X Series, with the RS and a deep dugout design. This board is designed specifically for flat water and has won plenty of races. This model works best for heavier riders who have the weight and power to make the most of it.
From SIC MAUI:
In a world full of cross-over boards, the XRS race board is a master of one thing - flat water racing. It’s a purebred board with a one-track mind: to beat the clock, to win!
The design concept for the XRS developed from our highly successful X Series flatwater board, perhaps designed ahead of its time, when the market was focusing on all-water designs.
The XRS is now the latest release of a specialist flat water board, fusing the “X” name with the award-winning RS. In a world full of cross-over boards, the XRS race board is a master of one thing - flat water racing. Purpose-driven, the XRS provides the best possible length to the width aspect ratio, delivering a stable platform for a racer to power up for speed. The flat bottom with the proportionally wide tail offers this foundation, and with an effective waterline, the XRS allows paddlers to achieve unrivaled acceleration.
It’s a purebred board with a one-track mind: to beat the clock, to win!

HIGH FREEBOARD DUGOUT COCKPIT AND BACKWARDS ANGLE DECK - Provides stability, reduces cockpit water intake, and promotes self-drainage
LOW ROCKER LINE - Creates the most effective 14’ waterline for efficient glide and speed

SUPER FLY (SF) Technology
SIC’s highest end SUP construction with a full PVC sandwich wrapping the EPS core (top, bottom, 360 degree rails) for a light, stiff and damp feeling core. The board is wrapped in carbon and glass providing a world class construction that is strong, light and stiff. Combine with great shapes will make for the highest end boards available on the market. These boards are molded to ensure great lamination strength and that every board is precisely like the master shaped by Mark Raaphorst.
About SIC MAUI
Like many a master shaper Mark Raaphorst did his time and paid his dues before setting up his own repair shop. He got hooked on SUP as soon as they started to appear on Maui and he very quickly found a way to combine his knowledge of moulded technology with his new passion. Before long SIC boards were winning almost every race they entered.
